“Civil War… Reenactment”

This is a practice short I made before shooting “42 STORY HOUSE” (www.42storyhouse.com). “Civil War Reenactment” was designed to practice combining music, F/X, and narration. It is also obviously a spoof of Ken Burns’ documentary style, and the mildly obsessed “reenactors” of Civil War battles. If you’re interested in the movie that followed, a 90-minute DVD of 42 comedy shorts called “42 STORY HOUSE”, please visit www.42storyhouse.com. Enjoy!
I’m the one at the very end holding the phone infront of the cars! funny thing is we posed that picture specifically as a joke about how difficult it is to escape the modern word while reenacting, it even had a little comment on the bottom saying ‘you cant get more battling 21st centuries than this!’
Nice writing Todd. Keep on keepin on:)
you can tell the guy in the first photo is a reenacter. but even reenacters dont smile and look into the camera for pictures
“mildly obessed?” I look at it more as a frenzied obsession.
Cool! I recognize pictures from the Pipestone reenactment.
I love this. I’m a civil war reenactor so I can fully appreciate it.LOL
