  3. JoezVendetta says:

No our country wouldnt have fallen. We would simply have the USa and the CSa. the same country just divied into 2 parts.

  4. GameCenter2009 says:

Disonised Arb if the south won lol.
Sorry I throught that was funny as hell.

  5. 1offkilter says:

I agree that the South was and always has been upright(except Andersonville and the atrocities on both sides), the North always industrialized and postured with the on-going government. I too, a northerner, but as a result of the fallout believe the outcome was wrong . Who would have thought, the worst of three outcomes?!

  6. JP4EVERBABY says:

yes our country would fall if the north lost but we really dont know

  7. JP4EVERBABY says:

  8. llandod77 says:

if the south won the world would be different, better well who really knows?

I think it’s funny when you see “The South will rise again”, because in my opinion they never FELL. The South stood up for themselves and what they believed in, and let’s face it, being out-manned and out-gunned, pretty much kicked the North’s ass in (most) of the significant battles. With equal money, weaponry, and troops, I don’t think theres any question that the South would have won their independance. (By the way, I’m a Northerner, lived pretty much my whole life in Connecticut)

1:18 looks like the Stonewall Jackson Monument on Monument Avenue here in Richmond, Virginia.

u would know how to spell imbred… well we got a southerner here. u guys shudnt have left the union so we had to go to u and kick ur ass.lolool. at least we were not pro slavery. but i bet ur different than how they were back then, though… eh wuteever

  12. StealthBreach says:

“Good God, not PORCHES!” *gasp* …What a terrible thought…

(Rolls eyes). This coming from a guy who incorrectly spells “inbred”, thinks in stereotypes, and assumes that a southern victory would have meant everyone would have adopted (his rather skewed idea of) southern culture.

The south didn’t want to conquer the north. They simply wanted to be left the hell alone.

Further, despite the union victory, southern culture (stereotype or otherwise) remains. may it ever be thus.

  13. Nationsnotregimes says:

Until 1965 the spirit of these men was carried in the hearts of the South, but after that date the media regime warred on the common folk of the South, drugs, war, and projected guilt and hatred

  14. badasschill says:

Well the Union Army is in God’s hands… The rebels are frying down in the worst, hottest lava pit in hell….

  15. ForHowManyCookies says:

we would all be called “skeeter” and would be imbreds and have porches and spit chewing tobacco into little yellow cans while playing the banjo

  16. billrobson1 says:

Both sides had gallant men, they are brothers in arms, now at peace in God’s hands.

  17. eastkybanjo91 says:

    god blees ya then

  18. JP4EVERBABY says:

what would happen if the south won?

  19. DoolaHeart18 says:

I’m 13 and we have debates in History once a week. Someone always brings up slavery and how bad the South is, even though we’re in the South. But I know it was heritage, not hate, and I love my South and I love every Confederate soldier there was. My great great great uncle was a sargent general and survived Gettysburg and I will preach the true meaning for as long as I live!

  20. chrikac says:

Yes, thank God that we now have a Marxist in the office….that’s what the good ole’ Union has given us…..and free health care too! Oh boy, we sure are lucky. Don’t even have to pay for it…..keep your dirty nasty eagle–and up with the Cross

  21. SimmonsJoel1789 says:

My great great grand father was 1st Sgt in the 15th Arkansas Infantry Company A . witch was under the command of Colonel Benjamen Johnson organized in Columbia County Arkansas. This Regiment fought at the battle of Port Hudson Louisiana and fought forts Donaldson and Henry Tennessee .

  22. white89euro says:

Clarification: Possible veterans & one fraud shown in the photo at :34 are, left to right, William Townsend, John Salling (definite fraud), and William J. Bush. The photo shown is actually from 1951, not the late ’50’s as I had thought. More info: see wikipedia (various). Pleasant Crump of Lincoln, AL was the last verified CSA vet.

  23. meetman3 says:

The veteran on the left has what looks like a Spanish American War era coat onTha other two seem to have a Confederate Army era coat on. IT was more than likely a gathering for all “Veterans” What makes you think that the photo was made in the later 50s?

  24. Wehategod says:

My Gf had ancestors whom fought for the Confedarcy and I love her so much. I would have served the South too.

  25. white89euro says:

The picture of the 3 men shown at about :34 seconds is a picture of three fraudulant Confederate veterans – in it for the money and attention. The last confederate died in 1951, this picture was taken later in the 1950’s. Other than that a fine tribute to the men in gray, and an excellent choice of song as well. Thank God they lost, and the Union was preserved.
