How to flirt southern-style?

yeahhh, anyway, im from the north moved down south and the southerners dont seem to understand what i mean when i joke and flirt. sarcasm is not in use. what in the world do you southern men like when it comes to flirting? and yes, i know many already dislike northern girls…
i cant help my half new york half boston accent. thats how people know where im from. i never realized how much some people dislike the north until now haha. but when people ask where im from, i say i live on the north end of town
there isnt much of a difference. just laugh and joke and smile.
not sure if Virginia is southern for me but we like pretty much the basic stuff, smile and laugh
its just the same as everywhere else…theres just a language barrier..
im a southern girl that moved up north and the northerners dont understand me that well..
but when it comes to flirting…body language tells all…

Pouty face, batty eye lashes, use the word sugar and sugar pie and wiggle your bottom and smile. You ought to fit in then. Watch Paula Dean do it on her cooking show, or rent the dvd of steel magnolias, and watch Darryl Hannah take a crack at it!

People don’t have problems, as long as your not always referencing where your from is better. You may not be doing that, but alot of people do as a reflex.
Some(not all) people up north are real brash as far as flirting. It has a tendency to be real direct and not very sexy. So try to be more smooth and sensual when flirting.
Also sarcasm is real tricky when flirting. Especially on the girls end. Make sure hes being kind of sarcastic too.
