My mother was a monstrous singer but at the age of 50 she has COMPLETELY ruined her voice by smoking!!! She can’t get high pitches any more, which means she’s not singing at all these days…
I think smoking could make your voice sound better in some regards, but it for sure impairs some of your vocal chords functionality, so two words: WATCH OUT!

hey, thank you so much. I uploaded these videos when i was living in England for some months. I know that smokes is not actually a bad thing for voice, ’cause i’ve been doing some exercises for sing better, and i will continue doing those exercises as many times as i need; I’m always taking out the best part of me for doing songs. And…as a last coment… i’m taking some English classes since six months ago and…i feel the difference…a little bit at least. thanks for your coment.Hugs

Smoking and singing doesn’t need to be a bad thing. By brother smokes and sings and has made his voice a lot cooler by doing it.
But I am not an expert in anything.. I take singing lessons though. hehe
