Mid-State Mudd Bogg – Brandon (04-04-09)

This is Brandon playing in the mud at the Mid-State Mudd Bogg in Batesburg, SC. He bought this old truck and we spent the night before the mud bog fixing a few critical things, doing some neglected maintenance, installing a set of tires and rims, and messing around so he could bring it out to play on his birthday. He actually did very well considering what we were working with and the little amount of time and money invested in it. He was running in the D class that allowed motor swaps w/o nitrous, 40″ tires or smaller, atleast a 12″ mufler, and factory door panels, dash, and bed. His truck competed with a stock motor, a set of half-tread 36″ military tires, a open diff in the front, and a GM G80-posi diff in the rear. Only one truck in his class made it past the 156 feet marker, and I think it’s safe to say he had the cheapest truck and least experience.
