Did anyone ever notice this flag is upside down? The middle star is pointing down. My great grandad fought in the 18th Alabama and was later captured. Long live Dixie!
The Blood Stained Banner is The C.S.A.’s flag. What is called “The Rebel Flag”, was created by Rebel Company in WWI however they where forced to change it upon integration. The flag takes it’s shape from The Second Confederate Navy Jack and it’s colours from The Confederate Battle Emblem – which was originally used by Lee’s unit. Robert E. Lee was the grandson of a Founding Father and the Grandnephew of another – President of The Continental Congress, Richard Henry Lee.
