Song from “Here for the party” CD i don’t own pics or song Lyrics = Well I ain’t never Been the barbie doll type No I can’t swig that sweet champagne I’d rather drink beer all night In a tavern or in a honky tonk Or on a 4 wheel drive tailgate I’ve got posters on my wall of Skynard, Kid and Strait Some people look down on me But I don’t give a rip I’ll stand barefooted in my own front yard with a baby on my hip Cause I’m a redneck woman And I ain’t no high class broad I’m just a product of my raisin’ And I say “hey y’all” and “Yee Haw” And I keep my Christmas lights on, on my front porch all year long And I know all the words to every Charlie Daniels song So here’s to all my sisters out there keepin’ it country Let me get a big “Hell Yeah” from the redneck girls like me Hell Yeah Hell Yeah Victoria’s Secret Well their stuff’s real nice Oh but I can buy the same damn thing on a Wal*Mart shelf half price And still look sexy Just as sexy As those models on TV No I don’t need no designer tag to make my man want me You might think I’m trashy A little too hard core But get in my neck of the woods I’m just the girl next door Hey I’m redneck woman And I ain’t no high class broad I’m just a product of my raisin’ And I say “hey y’all” and “Yee Haw” And I keep my Christmas lights on, on my front porch all year long And I know all the words to every Tanya Tucker song So here’s to all my sisters out there keeping it country Let me get a big “Hell Yeah” from the redneck girls like me

    @KalikoWulf just becuz we’re from maine doesnt mean we’re close minded and snobby. i have just as much southern hospitality as someone who lives in Texas. dont judge us from where we’re from just becuz a few people may act like that.

  5. cheerleader0519 says:

    @lizzyvance i agree with you on that. not all rednecks are the sterotype they’re believed to be. i just wish people wouldnt critisize all rednecks for the sterotype when all of the rednecks dont act like that.

    @majikishify

    I thought you were one of those people who though there were only stupid people in the south. Okay were in agreement. I will admit couple of the people in my family is the stereotype redneck but not all of them. I just don’t want people to think all rednecks are like that.

  7. majikishify says:

    @lizzyvance i definately agree. i won’t disclose the city i live in but it might as well be the moron capital of the world

  8. majikishify says:

    @KalikoWulf clearly you didn’t read what i wrote. i drive south-bound often and it never fails that this is stuff i see with my own eyes and hear with my own ears. quite literally every single sales associate i encountered outside of NE on my recent trip to VA, acted, looked and spoke like stereotypical in-bred trailer trash. i never said that everyone in the south is stupid. i simply said that i understand why it appears that way. perhaps you should direct your frustration toward those people

    @poodleskirtgirl246 someone said Texans were unintelligent? wooow, that doesn’t even make sense…well im from Canada, i only wish i could go there! Texas would be amazing!

  10. poodleskirtgirl246 says:

    @KalikoWulf I have lived in Texas all my life and trust me, No one has a southern accent unless they are from the pan handle or out of state. Many people I know went or are currently attending collage, so I know we are not unintelligent people.

  11. KalikoWulf says:

    @majikishify Saying your from Maine just proves a point. Northerners are close-minded and snobby, you like that stereotype? Texas isn’t bad and it’s about as south as it gets. Apparently you haven’t been there(Or close to it for that matter) because I’ve never heard anyone talk with such ignorance. So please get your facts straight before you go preaching things you don’t know about.

    @majikishify

    I live in Missouri where a lot of rednecks live. Not all of them are uneducated. There are a lot of uneducated people who live in other places besides the south.

  14. majikishify says:

    @lizzyvance i’m from maine, and i believe people think that southerners are uneducated because it certainly appears that way. i swear, the farther south i travel the farther i get from where proper english is spoken. “Betsy-joe? how much dese dang slim jims? they don’ price dese thangs no more!”

  15. cheerleader0519 says:

    @itsjustmeLex yes i am a proud redneck and i’m just saying what i think. and i dont have a problem i just dont like it when people talk trash about rednecks. i get enof people around me calling me a classless redneck and i dont want people doing it here either.

  16. cheerleader0519 says:

    I’m proud to be a redneck! we rednecks can be very educated, and we’re just like other people in the world. we just have a different way of life than people in the city, and they think we’re just a bunch of backwoods people that dont know shit, just to make themselves feel better. we have the best way of life and wouldnt trade it for anything! country girl all the way HELL YEA!

  20. RED13867 says:

    hell yaaaaaaah…

  21. TheFIRSTAngelSerene says:

    @ihatentr Well not just southern. It’s more of a deeply rooted country heritage. It does not have to be strictly centered around the south.

  22. ihatentr says:

    @TheFIRSTAngelSerene Like Southern? Haha, I’m from the West Coast and just moved to Texas, it’s all Greek to me!

  23. TheFIRSTAngelSerene says:

    @ihatentr To me, it is a part of my culture, a heritage. There are many cultures in this world. The term redneck is simply the term used for a certain type of culture.

  24. ihatentr says:

    @TheFIRSTAngelSerene What exactly is the definition of a redneck? it’s usually used in a negative context. What does it mean to you? I’m not being sarcastic, I really want to know.

  25. TheFIRSTAngelSerene says:

    Wow, to think that people so easily generalize all rednecks to be ignorant. In my honest opinion, as an educated redneck, people who can so easily stereotype someone for their heritage are the ignorant ones.
