I`ve done this for myself.I tried to upload a 9 odd minute version of this on Elvis` 75th,birthday.But it didn`t upload right.Or it didn`t save correct.I`ve cut it,shorter deleting alot of the images or the concept I had.Somethings should be left alone,this is no exception.This is why Elvis is who he was.Forget what I`ve added,without the other it has very little context.Elvis doesn`t need to be prostituted (for want of a better word)for who and what he was.He is one of the greatest influences of the 20th century.There are only two acts in popular music history in the last 50 yrs or more,I adore.One is Elvis Presley. It was a single documentary which was telling about a single battle in Civil War. They were discussing why union army had won that war and say that it was because of the cannons the link with the horses and the vegetation in the battlefield. Can You find the name of that documentary?

Elvis first sang this medley of “Dixie,” “The Battle Hymn Of The Republic” and “All My Trials,” arranged by Mickey Newbury, in Las Vegas in January 1972. The performance released as a single on Elvis` insistence in April 1972, with a B-side of “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” was from a February 16th Show that year. The single struggled to sell 100000 copies and failed to climb any higher than #66 in the charts, significantly lower than the #40 achieved a year earlier when released by Newbury himself. The medley of Yankee and Confederate fighting songs plus a song of comfort and hope was a big crowd-pleaser whenever Elvis sang it live, which he did often from 1972 through to 1975. It appears on many live album and Elvis documentaries from the seventies and on countless bootlegs. This great medley was performed at the rehearsal Show prior to the live satelite-transmitted Concert, Aloha From Hawaii. The best version of all songs performed came from the rehearsal show, where Elvis looks lean, acts loose and lets go musically as he rarely did. Burton`s guitar is on fire, and Tutt literally plays up a storm. Aloha From Hawaii was the last appearance of Elvis in full bloom on a worldwide stage.
