Civil War / Bleeding Kansas. Did any big Civil War battles take place in Topeka, KS? Any Topeka landmarks?

I am very intrigued if anyone has any detailed information on this… I live in SW Topeka (Lake Sherwood area) and I have heard of “unmarked” landmarks over in this area by Indian Hills Elementary and around the Lake.
