Are Southern US states happy with Barak Obama being President and if not why?

Im not an American as you may tell but im interested in the divide, I know they is a difference with New York and the southern states, Do the so called “redneck” Hillybilles still exist in the southern areas and if you can tell me who did they predomately vote for? God bless
