Slideshow set to red Steagall’s “Gone To Texas”. It narrates the story of a Souuthern family that is fortced off their land by carpetbaggers and tax collectors. (Carpetbaggers were Northeners that came to the South to exploit it after the Confederacy lost the War). The family then moves to Texas and finds freedom there.
