There is no reconciling you keep living in the past. nobody living today did anything to you. The confederate flag today isn’t even the same one that was widespread during the war. It’s become a regional symbol. It was widely seen as a pro american symbol until very recently. Right next to a US flag.

I dont understand why it shouldn’t be flown. Im from South Carolina too and I’d find it to be a disgrace to see it taken down. Alot of people died for that flag, and we should leave it for them. Its part of our history.
