Watching this movie, I spot one thing wrong with the alt-Pledge of Allegiance. Since Hitler and Nazism were not as taboo in this timeline, as well as FDR’s never being President, the Pledge would in all likelihood still be accompanied by the Bellamy (i. e. Roman) salute.

The fact a person names his party a “socialist” party does not make them a socialist. Hitler was a fascist; fascism has always been considered a right wing ideology by the nations of Europe and the rest of the educated world.

A few years ago the govt of boliva privatetized water, it cost the most people about half of what they made to buy it. Now they have Morales, their water is theirs again, the country’s oil reserves have been nationalized, no longer the property of multinationals they now have billions more to pay for social programs. They may not have the US’s GDP but their standard of living have improved dramatically.
