There is nothing wrong with Ham and Beans, heck I lived up North all my life and had it quite a bit as a kid. It is good food. I should say though we all have a little redneck in us, I do, I love the South and their hospitality. I have yet though been to the West to experience fine taste of living, would love to some day. Good on you!

I feel that you have to add, that you have several cars that no longer run parked in the front yard and all the stray dogs stay in the cars. Then maybe you could qualify for the higher status of Redneck.
