When They Played The Game: Long after leaving the Indians, Mudcat Grant still pitches his fondness for Cleveland
In his prime, Jim “Mudcat” Grant was among the most dominant pitchers in baseball. And although he was from the South, played on seven Major League teams and now lives in Los Angeles, Cleveland is where he learned about life from his idol Larry Doby, and the city remains a second home.
