What geographic region held the most battles in the civil war? Also
Do you think the war was inevitable why or why not?
And what do you think would the US be like if the south had won?

Most battles took place in the north. No, we Americans cannot agree on much. It would have happened sometime. We probably might still have slaves.

  2. Andy Watson says:

Allot took place in the South and North some battles were even fought on the border states.

At places like Antietam Creek, Gettysburg, Kennesaw Mountain, and Shiloh, troops on both sides were killed and wounded in staggering numbers.

The war was inevitable since the founding of the nation. There had been a series of compromises that failed related to slavery. In the end, the Civil War initially began as a test of states’ rights vs. those of the federal government.

If the South had won, there would be many different United States.
